Collaboration!

We are learning about the word 'collaboration' and what it looks like.
Mrs Tyson gave us a challenge today to work in our Inquiry groups and create a 'master piece'. We only had 20 minutes to discuss what we would make and to create it.

Year 3 Technology Challenge

Last week the Year 3 children got together and participated in a technology challenge in Room 4 with Ms Petherick.

The aim was for the children to work collaboratively as a group and to co-operate as a team effectively.

Day One:
They made a chair in their groups for Harold the Giraffe (doll) to sit on.

Day Two: They made a tunnel for a marble to roll down.

Waka Experience 2017

Wow what an honor and an amazing experience yesterday was!
Room 5 went on the Clive Waka!
We had such an amazing time, a huge thank you to the parents who helped with transport and to Jim. Jim was a brilliant teacher and he taught us about the importance of the waka and to Clive.
