Santa!

Clive Kids had a very special visitor today...SANTA!
FOS kindly donated an ice block for each child and we were greeted by Santa too.

What a fun filled day- Christmas creating with the whole school this morning, swimming and then a visit from our pal Santa.

Visit to the MTG Museum- Cubism Art Exhibition

Today Room 5 went to visit to the MTG Museum in Napier on Marine Parade went were lucky to see the Cubism Art Exhibition.

A huge thank you to all of the parents who helped with transport- we would not have been able to go without your support!

Havelock North Kapa Haka Visit

HNI Kapa Haka

Today we had the amazing Havelock North Intermediate School show us their Kapa Haka. It was so inspirational to watch and we loved seeing the old Clive School kids perform!

They definitely showed pride in their performance!!

We were lucky enough to see a Mandarin fan dance too! What a treat, they were mesmerizing to watch.

Netball Term 2/3

Netball! 

Today was our last session of Netball, and we got to put all of our new skills into action.

We used our shooting hoops skill, chest passing, over head passing and dodging skills.

We had such a great time learning and improving our Netball skills and we were very lucky to be able to practice!

We have been learning the cup song with Miss Mills, here is how to learn it.

Writing creative colour poems using adjectives

We have had loads of fun writing our poems about colour and adding a collage boarder to it too!
We used some of our senses to help describe what a colour might look like, sound like, feel like, taste like and smell like. We have also been learning about similes, we included a simile at the end of our poem.
